Monica Sullivan

Born and raised in Northern Bavaria, Germany, moved to the US in 1963. Blessed with 1 handsome son, two beautiful daughters and 8 gorgeous grandchildren, one of them a very handsome U.S. Marine, (beaming with pride.) Just recently found out I am going to be a Great Grandma later on this year. And last, but not least, I am a single Mom to a 4 year old Shih Tzu, an awesome little Rescue named Chloe.

I attended Consumnes River College, completed some computer programming and business classes and started working as a temp at Cummins Insurance in 1989, was hired on full time in April of the same year. Needless to say I have been adopted into the Cummins family and vice versa.

In 1995 I was diagnosed with an aggressive type of breast cancer, while undergoing horrific treatments, the original founders of the Agency, Glen and Peggy Cummins, along with their son and daughters, blessed me immensely by standing behind me 100% and holding me up throughout the entire ordeal. I consider them all one of the biggest blessings in my life.

And now, 18 years later, still cancer free and in excellent health, I love my job especially when I get to help someone in a dilemma and am able to resolve the issue and make their day.  I was named Five Star Insurance Professional in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 in Sacramento Magazine, which I consider a direct result of the environment I work in and the care and attention I provide our clients.

In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my family at home, spoiling the grandkids, gardening and walking my dog.
